IDEAS Denmark was founded in 1991 by Ken Muff Lassen. Before this time, Ken was with IKEA for almost 20 years, during which he established IKEA's first stores outside of Sweden.

For many years, he was a member of Inter IKEA’s group management team and responsible for their concept- and product development.

IDEAS Denmark started as a design company, selling designs and concepts to brands and companies internationally.

In 1994 IDEAS revolutionized the grinding industry, by introducing CrushGrind - the original ceramic mechanism®.

This mechanism is now used in famous brands around the world, and today 1 mechanism is sold every 20 seconds, 24 hours a day!

Tupperware and WMF were among the first to recognize the great potential. And in cooperation with Ideas, they both introduced a huge success. 

Today we continue to develop new ideas and improve existing technologies in kitchen tools.
